Chiefs-Dolphins Game Is So Cold That Andy Reid’s Mustache Froze

Chiefs – Dolphins: Andy Reid's mustache seemingly froze in frigid game

It’s not quite the blizzard storm the Buffalo Bills are dealing with, but the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins isn’t far behind.

Snowfall has dwindled, but temperature has reached sub-zero degrees and everyone is extremely cold at the stadium. That includes the head coaches.

Andy Reid's mustache freezes during cold Chiefs-Dolphins game

Cameras panned to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid in the first quarter and viewers were humored when they saw Reid’s mustache being subjected to frostbite.

At least the players have the opportunity to move around on the field and stay somewhat warm. There’s no escape for everyone else, and Reid isn’t the only one braving the elements on the sidelines

Sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung seems to be having a tough time, but she’s been delivering reports bravely. Despite that, viewers have pointed out how absurdly large her gloves are.

Who can blame her? We would all do anything to stay warm in those conditions.

Thankfully nobody appears to have gotten seriously injured yet from playing in frigid temperatures like this.

The action on the field doesn’t seem to be as adversely affected by it as many have thought it would either. The Chiefs and Dolphins have combined for 23 points in the first half – putting them on pace to match the projected over/under of 43.5 points despite some analysts projecting that it might be a very low-scoring affair.
