‘God made you perfect for me,’ the Denver Broncos quarterback wrote in a sweet caption under a reel dedicated to his longtime love.
The reel included photos of the A-list pair being affectionate over the years they have been a couple.
‘You are my peace in a storm. You are my joy in sadness. You are my comfort in trouble,’ Russell added.
The 1, 2 Step singer reciprocated in kind on her Instagram, writing, ‘I have everything I want and need in you,’ referring to her football superstar husband.
Ironically, the couple first met at a basketball game in Wisconsin back in 2015.
The NFL player invited Ciara out on a dinner date, which proved to be a fateful first date.
The couple made their relationship publicly official at the 2015 White House Correspondents dinner.
A year later, Russell popped the question after taking the Body Party star out on a secret trip following Paris Fashion Week.
Ciara’s rep told People at the time, ‘The biggest surprise was that Russell proposed to his new fiancée at the romantic private Honeymoon Beach located on North Island.’
The exclusive beach is a popular spot amongst A-list celebrities like Victoria and David Beckham.
Prince William and Princess Kate even visited Honeymoon Beach during their own honeymoon.
Following in William and Kate’s royal footsteps, Ciara and Russell tied the knot in secret at Peckforton Castle, a romantic venue in Cheshire, England back in July 2016.
After their romantic English wedding ceremony, the Level Up singer went on to give birth to two children, Sienna and Win.
She also has one son, Future, from her previous relationship and engagement with the Bugatti rapper.
Russell, who was previously married to advertising operations assistant Ashton Meem, is a proud stepfather for Future.
